World’s First Mobile AKA Brick Phone


The first cellular phone was the invented in Bell Labs, which first Give idea about the idea of a cellular system in 1947, and continued to Work for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for channels through the 1950s and 1960s, and research started at Motorola

In 1960s, electrical engineer John F. Mitchell became Motorola’s chief engineer for mobile communication products

Mitchell watch the development and marketing of the first pager to use transistors.


Motorola started produced mobile telephones for cars, that was big and heavy and consumed a lot power to allow their use without the automobile’s staring engine running.

Mitchell’s team, also with Martin Cooper, create a portable cellular telephone, and Mitchell with Motorola employees awarded a patent for this work in 1973; the first call on the prototype done, but its a first wrong number.


Motorola was devloping the cellular phone during 1968–1983, Bell Labs started worked on the system called AMPS, which became the 1st cellular network in the US.
